Ray Hushpuppi who has been apprehended for some weeks now for alleged internet fraud and has been in the custody of FBI has another case revealed by a Nigerian Journalist.
In a Twitter post shared by Deji Faremi, he revealed how Hushpuppi scammed a Serie A of €2million which was the balance of a player’s transfer fee.
In his words, he said;
“Remember in 2018 when Lazio reportedly fell for a scam and paid the final €2million installment of Stefan De Vrij transfer fee into an account pretending to be Feyenoord’s?”
Yup, that was Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi has been charged to court and he is said to facing a jail term up to 20 years.
