The Convener of the Yoruba Mandate Group, Akogun Banji Ojo has stated that the Unity of Yoruba Community is paramount and the responsibility of all Yoruba Sons and Daughters as well as Associations.
He revealed this while he was a guest on an online program by the Yoruba Mandate Group – “Yoruba Mandate Hotseat”. Akogun Banji Ojo said the Unity of the Yoruba’s is not negotiable but a priority, therefore all associations representing the Yoruba Culture need to work together and promote same Cultural values thereby laying off speculations of segregation such as Oduduwa Republic.
In his words, “one of the reasons why the Igbo tribe is gaining Global recognition is because they have more than Hundred (100) associations representing them in different countries Worldwide and they share the same values and also relate as one to promote unity”.
However, the Yoruba Mandate Group is already doing its part in Uniting the Yoruba race, having being represented in Forty (40) Countries including Hong Kong (Asia) in less than Three Months of Inauguration, more countries are expected to join as we look to harmonize and Unite the Yoruba Race Worldwide, he added.
