Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter and a mobile payment company called Square, has hinted that he could live between three and six months in Africa come 2020.
The 43-year-old tech executive was in different parts of the continent like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia in November, meeting with entrepreneurs and people leveraging on the use of technology for great change.
After he left the continent, he tweeted how sad it is to leave, adding that Africa will define the future, especially as regard Bitcoin, a popular digital currency.
It should be noted that the Twitter CEO loves travelling and he was in Melbourne, Australia earlier in September and in Myanmar in December 2018, to celebrate his birthday.
“Sad to be leaving the continent…for now. Africa will define the future (especially the bitcoin one!). Not sure where yet, but I’ll be living here for 3-6 months mid 2020. Grateful I was able to experience a small part, �” he said.
