The Anambra state police command is currently searching for a man dentified as Chinedu Ikegwuonu, who fled after killing his mom by slaughtering her with a knife in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The sad incident happened at the deceased’s house yesterday.
According to some people, the son killed his mother after a pastor told him his mom was behind his ordeals in life.
However, a neighbor also speaking on the issue said he killed her because she prevented him from collecting house rent from tenants.
