A man who spent 6 years in jail for a crime he did not commit, has finally regained his freedom.
The man identified as Chukwuma Okpara was sent to a jail in Owerri, Imo state capital for a crime he did not commit.
Okpara was wrongly accused, arrested and jailed over a man’s death he knew nothing about.
Evangelist Christian Chukwuka who visited the prison last year and advocated improvement of inmates in the prison met with the man and prayed for him.
Okpara was later discharged and acquitted this year after spending six years in prison.
