Police have arrested a man simply identified as Nzube for killing his 4 kids and their housemaid. The family lives in Anambra.
According to PM Express, the sad incident happened at Ntueke Street in Awada area of the Obosi close to Onitsha in Anambra State. The deceased lived there with their mum before Nzube returned and joined them there.
Nzube, reportedly just returned to the country after serving time overseas and was believed to have been injected with substances which affected his mental state.
Residents revealed that the wife’s family got the apartment she lived in with her kids before Nzube joined them.
On the day the incident happened, Nzube was said to have left the house around 5pm to get a cutlass with which he used in killing his kids.
After killing his kids, he went for the maid who struggled before she was finally killed. Her struggle is what was said to have alerted the neighbours.
The suspect remained in the flat, in the pool of blood until police came, arrested him and took him to the station.
The victims’ parts, have all been packed and deposited at the mortuary for investigations and autopsy report.
