Many were surprised when singer Iyanya decided it was time to leave Don Jazzy’s Mavin records barely months after signing to the label.
A few attributed it to a rift between the men, others claimed it was due to the already successful acts at the label, who may not give Iyanya the chance to c=shine.
Denying both claims, Iyanya, who is now signed to Temple Music, said he left the label as he wanted more for his music.
In his words;
”It was not beef. I was there and it was time to move on. I’m now signed to Temple Music but, I am a Mavin for life.”
