Parents to an 8-month old baby have via a nanny camera caught their 31-year-old nanny identified as Anastasia Zhelyabova, abusing their child.
The nanny who now faces up to ten years in jail for child cruelty was seen on camera holding the baby’s nose to stop him breathing and repeatedly hitting him.
Metro U.K, reports that the parents have handed the recording to police and the footage shows Zhelyabova smacking the baby on the face and bottom.
The child’s mother, Elena Levendeeva, 26, became concerned after only just two weeks of employing the nanny, the baby would cry when Zhelyabova arrived.
This made her install cameras around the house and on the first day of installing the cameras, she caught the nanny abusing her defenseless boy. The nanny got angry when the baby refused to take his bottle.
Elena from Nefteyugank in Russia wrote on social media: ‘Due to frequent and continuous hysterical cries from our child we installed video cameras that recorded the beating and torturing.’ .

A police spokesman said: ‘The investigation of the criminal case when the woman beat a small child is now over.’ The nanny ‘beat the baby several times on his bottom and on the face, and she lifted the child and threw him on the floor.’ 📸: East2West News
