A former Relationship Manager with the United Bank for Africa, UBA, Victor Onodavwerho, has been sentenced to four years imprisonment by Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court, in Asaba, Delta State.

The convict was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on money laundering. He was found guilty of all the charges and sentenced him to one-year imprisonment on each of the four counts. The sentence is to run concurrently.

Trouble came calling when Onodavwerho forged the letter-heads of Edo State Universal Basic Education Board and converted a sum of N20,000,000 belonging to the Board to build a hotel in his name.
